Oh Jeopardy. There's no denying contestants on that show are wicked smart. Intelligence is like the whole point of the game.
However, year after year, there are people who leave viewers in shock and awe after being unable to identify pop culture icons, and an episode this week was no different after contestants were unable to identify comedian Dave Chappelle.
It's Dave friggin Chappelle!
The stand-up comedian is best known for his legendary comedy specials, his TV show, and his role in the greatest movie of all time A STAR IS BORN,
During the Double Jeopardy! segment of the show, the contestants were shown a photo of Dave.
"This comedian displayed his drama chops in A Star Is Born, playing Bradley Cooper’s longtime friend," the clue read.
None of the contestants could recognize the comedian, which naturally lead to them all being roasted on Twitter by viewers.
I mean I know not everyone has the same pop culture knowledge as me, but it's not like he's some up-and-coming comedian.
Needless to say, I can't stop laughing at these tweets.
And haters would say I'm not smart enough to compete on Jeopardy!... well the joke is on them!
