Kirstie Alley Invites Hater To Have A 'Throw Down' After Threatening To Boycott HGTV

You don't want to mess with Kristie Alley.

One Twitter user learned this the hard way recently when they expressed their distaste towards the possibility of Kristie joining HGTV.

This caused the Drop Dead Gorgeous actress to invite her hater to have a "throw down."

Come see what else she had to say.

Kristie Alley is no stranger to internet drama.

As a vocal supporter of people like former President Donald Trump, she has amassed a lot of haters over the years.

Just this past election, she stirred up controversy on October 17th by tweeting out her support for Trump in the past election.

"I’m voting for @realDonaldTrump because he’s NOT a politician," she tweeted.

"I voted for him 4 years ago for this reason and shall vote for him again for this reason." This led to many angry tweets, denouncing the actress.

"You're an idiot. You support a racist and you're in 2 cults: MAGA and Scientology. Bye," wrote one user.

She's even gotten into spats with public figures, such as Katie Couric.

Kirstie was mad at her longtime friend of 35 years after the journalist said that Trump voters that stormed the capitol as cult members need to be reprogrammed.

"Wow @katiecouric we’ve known each other for 35 years but if U really think I need to be deprogrammed along with 80 million conservatives ur gonna need to organize massive deprogrammers," she began.

"Curious who they would be. Shrinks or Nazis? I hear both were good at it, yet still failed," Kirstie concluded.

Most recently, Kirstie found herself head-to-head with an unlikely foe: an HGTV fan.

This is the network that is home to several home improvement and real estate programs, such as Love it or List it, Property Brothers, and 100 Day Dream Home.

In December 2020, the *Look Who's Talking* star tweeted out her love for the network.

"My favorite new show on HGTV is Escape to the Chateau !!" she wrote. "I’m obsessed with these people! They’re wonderful they’re creative they’re wild and wacky! LOVE THEM!! @hgtv."

Since this was before Kirstie got on people's nerves with her views, the replies were tame.

The same couldn't be said, though, for the latest time that she tweeted about HGTV.

This took place this past Monday, when she tweeted,

"Today begins the remodeling of my property. I’m wondering if I should film it and sell it to HGTV since I DID recently win $2.00 in the Mega Millions drawing."

"My lottery dream house. Contact me David Bromstad( big fan by the way)," she concluded.

The thought of Kirstie appearing on HGTV clearly scared some people, as one had a harsh reply:

"The day HGTV does anything with you is the day I boycott them. I know I’m not alone ."

As we've seen before, Kirstie wasn't about to back down.

"THIS is the method of cowards and bully libs," she began in her tweet.

"You don’t like someone or their views so you rat them out to daddy so they get a beating."

She then invited the hater to "throw down."

"You wanna confront me? Knock on my door and we’ll throw down... while Flip or Flop plays in the background," she wrote.

Her tweet was received with lots of support from her fans.

"Let me know when you are on HGTV, I’ll have a watch party and invite my friends. Then we’ll buy everything they advertise," one wrote.

Kirstie then shared how #unbothered she was with the drama by posting this follow-up tweet.

"Jeez this cancel culture is bringing me down!!!!! ......kidding.. I’m gonna go look for another chair at the Home Goods in Tampa Face," she wrote, along with lots of kissing and laughing emojis.
