Arnold Schwarzenegger Pleads With COVID-19 Vaccine Doubters In Heartfelt Comment

You don't want to mess with Arnold.

As a loyal supporter of preventing the spread of COVID-19, the Terminator actor has been vocal on social media about staying home and wearing a face mask.

He also recently documented himself getting the vaccine. But when some fans didn't agree with this, an emotional side we haven't seen came out.

When it comes to the coronavirus pandemic, Arnold has always been stern with those who don't want to take the health precautions seriously.

This includes stressing the importance of staying home and self-isolating (he used his pet donkey and mini horse to get that message across) and wearing a face mask to prevent the spread.

Back in June, the *Terminator* actor tweeted out his support for the governor of California, Gavin Newsom.

The governor had made it mandatory for all California residents to wear a face mask while out in public.

Since a lot of people had a problem with this, Arnold stepped in.

"This is 100 percent the right move," the actor shared to his millions of Twitter followers at the time.

"This will help us beat this terrible virus. The science is unanimous - if we all wear masks, we slow down the spread and can reopen safely."

He then called out those who were calling it a "political issue."

"Anyone making it a political issue is an absolute moron who can’t read," he wrote.

He also collaborated with Gov. Gavin Newsom and three other former California governors to make a video campaign, encouraging residents to wear face coverings.

The actor led by example again this week.

This time, in Terminator style, as he channeled his iconic character while getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

“Today was a good day. I have never been happier to wait in a line,” he tweeted, sharing a video clip of him in his car at Dodger Stadium.

He then shared the moment he was vaccinated against COVID-19.

But that's not even the most exciting part.

After getting the shot, he said, "Alright, I just got my vaccine, and I will recommend it to anyone and everyone," Schwarzenegger said in the video. "Come with me if you want to live."

This iconic line is uttered in each *Terminator* film.

While the response to Arnold's video was mainly positive, there were some naysayers in the comments on Facebook.

Some were tame, with people wondering why Arnold didn't say his other iconic line, "I'll be back."

Meanwhile, others questioned the effectiveness of the vaccine in the first place.

This prompted Arnold to plead with COVID-19 vaccine doubters in a heartfelt comment.

“Virtually all of the real experts around the world are telling us the vaccine is safe and some people on Facebook are saying it isn’t,” Schwarzenegger wrote.

He encouraged people to listen to science instead of getting sucked into conspiracy theories.

"In general, I think if the circle of people you trust gets smaller and smaller and you find yourself more and more isolated, it should be a warning sign that you’re going down a rabbit hole of misinformation.”

His heartfelt plea currently has over 20k reactions.

"I read the whole thing in your voice. Thanks for the info!" wrote one user.

A healthcare worker appreciated Arnold's message. "Thank you for speaking up and sharing this moment with others. (Healthcare worker)," they wrote.

Of course, not everyone agrees with Arnold.

"We do not care what you have to say shut up and stop virtue signaling," wrote one naysayer.

There were many other messages that followed the same theme. But at the end of the day, Arnold can feel proud knowing he may have saved some lives.
