Siegfried Fischbacher, best known as one half of the Las Vegas entertainer duo Siegfried and Roy, has passed away at the age of 81, The Independent confirms .
Siegfried Fischbacher and Roy Horn rose to fame for their Las Vegas act involving white lions and white tigers.
While the duo retired in 2010, they were a fixture in popular culture, and at one point were the most-visited show in Las Vegas.
Roy Horn passed away on May 8th, 2020, at the age of 75.
Siegfried passed away after being diagnosed with terminal cancer, as his sister Dolores confirmed.
Many fans are taking to social media to share their condolences and memories of the beloved entertainer.
“I just got very sad news from Las Vegas. Today Siegfried Fischbacher of Siegfried and Roy past away. They changed magic and showbusiness forever and made us believe and have faith in the impossible,” one fan shared .
Siegfried was 81 years old.
