Betty White Reveals How She's Going To Spend Her 99th Birthday During Quarantine

In early January, it can feel like all the best days are behind us. Christmas, New Year's, Hanukkah... Everything to look forward to all year is suddenly behind us.

But fear not! The most important holiday of all time is still in front of us, and that is obviously Betty White's birthday!

Betty is the queen of all screens, and she's just revealed how she'll be ringing in the big 9-9 this year.

I don't think I'll get any argument when I say Betty White is pretty much the best celebrity ever.

Cute as a button? Check. Talented actress with decades of experience? Absolutely check. Sassy queen with snappy remarks for days? You already know it!

Of course, I celebrate Betty White every day, but there's one day a year when we should REALLY be honoring this legend.

Betty was born on January 17, 1922.

That means that this year, Betty will be celebrating an absolutely huge milestone of a birthday — she's turning 99!

She's one year off from a century and still just as much of a spitfire as always — talk about being old lady goals! I cannot wait to be exactly like Betty when I'm 99.

Betty recently revealed just how she's planning on spending her big day.

"You probably didn't ask, but I’ll tell you anyway," Betty told Entertainment Tonight about her birthday plans. Normally, I can only imagine Betty would be throwing an absolute rager with martinis, cocktails, and Chippendales dancers, but this year is obviously a bit different.

"What am I doing for my birthday? Running a mile each morning has been curtailed by COVID," Betty explained.

"So I am working on getting *The Pet Set* re-released," Betty went on.

"And feeding the two ducks who come to visit me every day," she said.

Okay, 1: what do I have to do in life to be reincarnated in my next one as a duck who gets to visit Betty White every day? And 2: who else is way excited for The Pet Set?

For the uninitiated, *The Pet Set* was a show Betty hosted in the '70s.

Produced by her late husband Allan Ludden (who was also the announcer), the show centered around Betty and her various celebrity guests who brought their pets with them discussing pet care, ecology, and wildlife preservation.

It was a blast, and Betty is working on making sure more people can watch it!

"*The Pet Set* is one of my favorite shows," Betty told *ET*.

"I’m thrilled it’s going to be seen again after all these years," she added.

Spending her birthday working hard to make sure more people get to see The Pet Set sounds like a birthday gift for us, and I absolutely can't wait to re-watch!

It looks like there's even more reason than usual to be excited for Betty White's birthday this year!

Happy early birthday to Betty!
