Tim Allen Reveals He Dropped An F-Bomb On The Set Of 'The Santa Clause 2'

It takes a lot of strength to work with kids! No, not just because of all the "responsibilities" and "making sure they're still alive" boring stuff, but also because it takes a lot of inner strength to be able to stop yourself from swearing all the time.

I might have a mouth like a sailor, but you can bet your... butt that when kids are around, I'm squeaky clean (see! I did it just now)!

But everyone makes mistakes, right? Even Tim Allen!

Tim Allen is a total legend.

We obviously love Tim as the family patriarch in Last Man Standing, and before that we loved him as the Tool Man himself on Home Improvement, but the actor is even more legendary when it comes to our kids.

Tim has played two iconic characters in kids' movies, cementing his status as basically a king of kids' media.

Obviously, Tim brought to life the perfect sidekick slash spaceman Buzz Lightyear in all of the Toy Story films, and he also played Santa Claus himself in the hilarious holiday classic The Santa Clause franchise.

Being a king among children doesn't necessarily mean he loves working with them, though.

Tim did a recent interview with Kelly Clarkson where he revealed things on set were not quite smooth with all the child actors.

“I’m not really a big fan of children," Tim joked to Kelly when asked about his experience on the set of the beloved holiday films.

Not really what you want to hear from Santa, but I can't say I blame him — they're loud, annoying, and always complaining! My husband might say that sounds familiar, but we're going to ignore that.

“I have them. I like mine, kind of," Tim joked.

"I don’t like other people’s children. And when we did The Santa Clause, it was like cats. They wouldn’t leave me alone," he said.

Tim went on to describe a particularly challenging scene to film where two of the child actors were continually getting into a fight and interrupting the scene.

“Fifteen takes later, the kids said one more word and I let out the loudest F-bomb,” Tim revealed.

“And I turned around, and there are 12 children who look like you had ripped their legs off," Tim went on. "Their Santa has just screamed the F-bomb.”

I'm sure a lot of kids hear worse from their local mall Santas, but still!

Tim said he tried to convince the kids he had actually said a Swedish word meaning “holiday trim.”

“Kids didn’t buy it,” Tim went on. “Nobody bought it. I never did that again. I shocked these poor kids.”

At least those kids probably have a great story to tell now! Not many of us get to say they saw Santa curse up a storm.
