I feel like everyone secretly has that celebrity relationship that you look up to and hope that your relationship (present or future) will end up just like them. For me, that couple is definitely Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, and it looks like musician Jennifer Lopez might just agree with me on that one after a recent interview!
Jennifer Lopez Says Kurt Russell, Goldie Hawn May Have Inspired Her To Not Get Married
Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn are one of Hollywood's longest lasting couples.
They've been together 37 years, which in terms of Hollywood is basically over a century, and they've pretty open about the fact that they don't see a need or a reason to ever get married officially.
It looks like they might be inspiring Jennifer Lopez and her partner, Alex Rodriguez, to follow in their footsteps.
"It was really sad because we were supposed to get married in June and we planned it all," Jennifer revealed in a new interview about their wedding plans.
"So in March or April, we're looking down the pipe and we're going, 'This is maybe not going to happen.' Italy's the worst place in the world. And we were going to get married in Italy. I was like, 'Okay, we got to cancel everything,'" Jennifer went on.
"You just think to yourself, well, things will happen in their divine time in a way, but the same thing with like the Goldie thing and Kurt, you think: Do you have to?"
"Should we? It just kind of gave us a moment to pause and think about it," she added. "It'll happen when it happens."
I can't say I blame her — after seeing how happy Kurt and Goldie are together, you gotta admit that something is definitely working for them!
