Twitter Reacts To Family’s Relatable Note About Sleep Training Their Baby

As many new parents can attest, sleep deprivation is a real thing. What's even worse is sleep training your baby. That's where things get interesting.

One family was going through these rough patches and felt terrible for their neighbor. So they did the only decent thing they could think of and apologized in a letter. I bet this neighbor appreciated it.

This lady received a sweet letter from her neighbors who were struggling with sleep training their baby.

She posted it on Twitter for fun and had no idea what it would start. When she came back online, she got the ultimate surprise.

The tweet went viral, and she found out that it amassed 1 million likes and 78.4K retweets.

Whoa, can you believe that? I guess it must've struck a chord with everyone. Who knew it would be this popular? I would never have guessed that.

People online were going crazy for this note.

Many thought it was very sweet of the parents to do this. After all, how many parents warn their neighbors of something like this, huh? To be frank, I've never heard of any, ha, ha.

Touched by this nice gesture, the neighbor offered to bake some cookies for the couple.

She didn't kid about that. Not only did she bake cookies for them, but she made chocolate chip, peppermint shortbread, and brownie cookies.

She also got them a few more gifts to help them get through their tough days.

Aw, that's so sweet of her too. I bet they appreciated her coming up with all these awesome goodies. See, there are good neighbors out there.

Then she made a joke about the neighbor's suggestion she can come by for some tequila.

As it turns out, she would gladly take them up on their offer, but she's a whiskey kind of girl. Heck, I would drink both of them, ha, ha.

This tweet blew up not only because of the neighbors' sweet note but because of the whole sleep training controversy.

The parents are trying the cry-it-out method, and as it seems, people have a lot to say about it online.

Some have been praising the CIO method as the best ever, while others are against it.

It's amazing how one letter has started such a strong debate. I guess you need to do what feels right for you and your child in that circumstance.

So what do you think of this story?

Was it good for these parents to warn their neighbor? And how do you feel about how she reacted to this situation? Would you have been as cool about it like she was?
