The best part about Christmas is undoubtedly the movies. We might all get sick of the music, we might not be very good at buying presents, we might not even get to see our family during years like this year, but we can always curl up on the couch under a warm blanket and watch Christmas movies.
'Christmas Vacation' Voted The Best Christmas Movie Of All Time
One of my favorite Christmas movies is *National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation*.
The wacky, awkward, and hilarious adventures of the Griswold family headed by Chevy Chase are always classic, but the Christmas Vacation entry into the franchise is potentially the strongest — and it's not just me who thinks like this!
Ranker recently asked fans to vote for the best Christmas movie of all time.
Obviously, Christmas Vacation came out on top, with 11k votes.
Other movies that came pretty close include Elf, Home Alone, and It's A Wonderful Life with 8k votes each, and A Christmas Story with 9k votes!
*How The Grinch Stole Christmas* stole second place.
It was some pretty stiff competition!
I have to say that I definitely agree with this ranking, though! There's nothing like a touching family story couched into some of the best humor the '80s had to offer!
