Tattoo Artist Uses Real Plants To Make Stunning Botanical Designs

Since you already know a thing or two about me, then you know my love for different tattoo techniques. But this time, I've got a truly unique one to share with you.

It's a special technique one artist developed, and I've got to say I've never seen anything like it. You have to see it to really appreciate it.

Rita Zolotukhina is a different type of tattoo artist.

She's a plant lover, and she shows it with her special tattoo technique. I can honestly say I've never seen an artist work quite as she does. It's pretty amazing.

What's so different about the way Rita does tattoos?

Well, she uses real plants as stencils for her tattoo designs. Once you see exactly what she does, you'll understand what I mean. Check it out and see for yourself how unique it is.

Have you ever seen anything like this before? I told you it was unique.

I think this is such a great way to create a stencil. And once the tattoo is applied, it looks so realistic — just like a plant in the wild.

Wow, I can't get over how beautiful this leaf looks here.

It's so realistic-looking, no? I've got to admit that if I could fly to Bali right now to get a tattoo from this talented lady, I would. It's so incredible.

Rita is originally from Ukraine, but now she lives in Bali.

And I think judging from her love of plants, this is the perfect place for her. In Bali, she can find all the plant species she needs for her special tattoos.

Check out how intricate the process of applying the flowers to the body as the stencil is here.

I'm sure this takes much longer than a regular stencil process, but it's so worth it in the end. The results are nothing short of spectacular.

Oh my goodness, I want a leaf tattoo like this on my body.

The details in these tattoos are so amazing. It's like Rita has embedded the leaves in the person's skin, no? Are you as blown away by this as me?

I think this is honestly the best idea for a plant lover.

I wish there were tattoo artists like this lady near me. I would consider getting something like this done in a heartbeat. What about you? What's your take on it?

Doesn't this gorgeous petunia come alive on this person's skin here?

I think Rita has captured the essence of this flower perfectly. She even got all the pretty dots that sparkle on the actual flower. I really love this tattoo.

Even a tiny tattoo like this one still packs a punch.

The vibrant color on this piece makes it a total stand-out. It's such a delicate flower and design, but Rita pulls this job off without a hitch. Isn't this so pretty?

I think Rita is a genius in bringing flowers and plants to life on people's skin.

Don't you think? I don't know exactly she does it, but she's got the magic touch. Her love for plants shows in all her tattoos.

I wish I could see the entire process of making a tattoo like this from start to finish.

But I guess this talented lady needs to leave some things as a mystery. Perhaps one day I can get a tattoo done by her and see for myself.

Get a load of this incredible head tattoo.

OMG, this isn't for the faint of heart. Getting something like this tattooed on your head requires some faith in your artist as well as incredible commitment. I'm happy it turned out as good as it did.
