Margot Robbie Says New Female-Led 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Film Will Have 'Lots Of Girl Power'

When I heard Ms. Margot Robbie would be involved in a FEMALE-LED Pirates of the Carribean reboot film, I was thrilled.

Not only do I love the Pirates franchise, I love Margot, and I love girl power!

Thankfully for fans who love ALL THE SAME THINGS I DO, it seems like we're in for a real treat!

Margot Robbie is known for being gorgeous, glam and *insanely* talented.

I mean, have you seen any movie from the past eight years?

If you have, there's a good chance that Margot was in it, and was the best part!

While promoting her new film "Dreamland" Margot chatted with *Collider* about the highly anticipated female-led reboot of "Pirates of the Caribbean." The film will be written by the amazing screenwriter Christina Hodson, who also wrote *Birds of Prey.*

Essentially, Margot promised the fans, the PEOPLE, that the upcoming film will have "lots of girl power" at its core.

Of course, Ms. Robbie could not tell us everything, but what she did tell us was AMAZING!

"It’s too early to talk about it. I love [Hodson], obviously," she revealed.

"I’m not a producer on Pirates, so I’ll sit back and kind of wait for the process."

"We’re really, really excited at the prospect of adding obviously a very key female element to that world," she added.

As published by The Hollywood Reporter this new Pirates won’t be "a spinoff" but "a wholly original story with new characters under the Pirates moniker."
