Good Grief! 'Charlie Brown' Thanksgiving And Christmas Specials Will Air On TV After All

It's not an understatement to say the world was outraged when news broke that the beloved Charlie Brown holiday specials wouldn't be airing on television this year!

Sure, they were telling us we could watch Charlie Brown on Apple TV, but that's assuming I'd know how to USE Apple TV, or that I even knew what Apple TV is — spoiler alert, I don't!

I barely got a hold of my DVR a few years ago, now this?!

Thankfully, it seems the higher-ups at ABC heard the revolutionary screams of the people, and have decided to give us back what is rightfully ours!

So many things have changed since the first time *A Charlie Brown Christmas* aired on TV back in 1965.

What hasn't changed, though, is the love people have for it!

Don't worry, I'm not forgetting about you, *A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving* — you just came out a bit later in 1973!

Nonetheless, these classic cartoons fill me with the holiday spirit! Without them, it just wouldn't feel the same!

So when it was announced last month that these beloved specials would not be airing on TV for the first time in over 50 years, I COULD HARDLY CONTAIN MY RAGE!

If I had pearls, I would have clutched them!

It seemed the whole world was rebelling! Even the infamous Rockefeller Christmas tree was trying to replicate the Charlie Brown tree!

Well, it seems that all our anger and manifesting has finally paid off as it's been announced the Charlie Brown specials are returning to TV!

While fans were told we could view the specials on Apple TV for free, that got a big thumbs down from me! I want *Charlie Brown* on my normal, CABLE TV, like always!

Thankfully, it was announced that A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will air on PBS and PBS Kids on November 22 at 7:30 pm!

Make sure to mark it on your calendars — you don't want to miss it!

As for *A Charlie Brown Christmas*, it will air on PBS and PBS Kids on December 13, 2020 at 7:30 pm!

I'm so relieved that my holidays have been SAVED by PBS!

While there are so many wonderful, nostalgic Christmas movies to enjoy, there's nothing quite like Charlie Brown!

May the Christmas spirit help us if they even think about touching It's A Wonderful Life from its Christmas Eve cable TV spot!
