10+ Celebs Who Look A Lot Like Video Game Characters

We're living in a golden age of media. Films are crossing over into video games, video games are crossing into films, and nerds like me are reaping all the benefits!

That's why I wanted to sit down and compile this list of 10+ celebs who look like video game characters. Maybe if we give Hollywood a push in the right direction, we might see some of these dream castings!

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Dante (Devil May Cry)

This one seems just too obvious to ignore. I mean, look at that chiseled jawline, that distinct and defined chin.

You can't tell where Nikolaj begins and Dante ends when you put them side-by-side!

Cobie Smulders and Lydia (Skyrim)

After seeing Cobie Smulders in the Avengers franchise, I started becoming open to the idea of Robin Scherbatsky as an action hero.

After playing Skyrim, I think I may have found the perfect role for her!

Ron Perlman and Donkey Kong (Donkey Kong Adventures).

This isn't intended to be a dig at Ron Perlman.

He just so happens to share some of the same facial features as the most famous gorilla in the history of the gaming world.

Taylor Swift and Tracer (Overwatch).

Don't let the blonde hair throw you. Look at Tracer's eyes; her nose and mouth.

If that doesn't scream "Taylor Swift" then I don't know what does. I feel like Tracer would be a fan of Taylor's music, too. So it all works out.

David Bowie and Emperor Mateus (Final Fantasy).

You've got to admit, there are some striking similarities between Emperor Mateus and David Bowie as 'Jareth the Goblin King'.

The hair alone is a dead giveaway. That's 100% Bowie; baby. May he rest in peace.

Jack Black and Mario (Super Mario Brothers).

Picture Jack making this exact same expression, only minus the thick beard.

Accentuate the mustache, throw on a red cap, and you've got the next and best live-action Mario we could ever possibly hope for.

Johnny Knoxville and Travis Touchdown (No more Heroes).

I know, I asked myself the same question: "since when did Johnny Knoxville become a silver-fox?"

Picture him with the black hair and he is Tracer from No More Heroes. In fact, upon closer inspection, Johnny may want to talk to somebody about likeness rights.

Zooey Deschanel and Elizabeth (BioShock Infinite).

Not even Bambi has bigger or brighter eyes than Zooey Deschanel. From the very first moment I saw Elizabeth in BioShock Infinite, I had the craziest sense of deja-vu.

It was as if I could hear the theme-song from New Girl playing in my head.

Liam Hemsworth and Nathan Drake (Drake's Fortune).

I know, Tom Holland is going to be playing Drake. I'm not mad either, in fact — I'm incredibly excited.

But even a Tom truther like myself can admit that no one looks the part of Nathan Drake more than Liam Hemsworth.

Mandy Moore and Kerrigan (StarCraft).

Once again, this is not intended to be an insult. Kerrigan is Queen of Blades and leader of the Zerg Swarm!

If we ever get to see a StarCraft film brought to life, Mandy would be my dream fan-cast.

Ellen Page and Ellie (The Last Of Us).

In my humble opinion, The Last Of Us would make an incredible movie, and Ellie and Ellen could practically be twins!

I know Ellen is a gamer herself, so make it happen Hollywood!

Hugh Laurie and Gordon Freeman (Half Life).

Picture Hugh with a little less grey on top and in his beard.

Throw on a pair of thick horn-rimmed glasses, sling a rifle over his shoulder, and you've got your Gordon Freeman.

Alexandra Daddario and Lightning (Final Fantasy).

After seeing these two side-by-side, I have this undying curiosity to see how Alexandra Daddario would look with cotton-candy-pink colored hair.

How there hasn't been a Final Fantasy live-action film is beyond me.

Charlie Hunnam and Link (The Legend Of Zelda).

My favorite game from my childhood, combined with my favorite member of SAMCRO would make for one incredible live-action adaptation.

Given the proper script, director, and of course — the right Link.

Henry Cavill and Geralt of Rivia (The Witcher).

What can I say? Netflix hit the nail on the head when it came to casting Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.

I'm super stoked for season 2 of The Witcher, who's with me?
