It's Time To Stop Shaming Celebs For Kissing Their Kids On The Lips

Being a parent isn't easy. Being a celebrity isn't easy. Ergo, being a celebrity parent is VERY not easy! Every move you make is judged by millions of people!

Time and time again, celebrities are shamed for kissing their kids on the lips and I am here to settle the debate once and for all — no, it's not weird to kiss your kids on the lips!

Parenting techniques are as varied and unique as snowflakes, or Starbucks orders! What one family does might not be what *your* family does, but that doesn't mean it's "bad" or not responsible.

Some families like to make Potatoes au Gratin at Thanksgiving, while others opt for a traditional mash! Who am I to tell other people what works for their family isn't valid?!

This same philosophy goes for parents who kiss their kids on the lips, and those who don't!

I personally didn't grow up with my parents kissing me on the lips, but as an adult, I don't see anything wrong with it, and I especially don't think it's worth the insane discourse on social media.

There's no denying plenty of parenting techniques are far more controversial than SHOWING YOUR CHILDREN AFFECTION by kissing them on the lips!

Every family, from every culture, is going to vary on the way they show affection! That's what makes the world a beautiful place!

I believe life is way too short to judge something so common, and so innocent!

Let's just let parents live and let live, and if that means letting celebrities kiss their kids on the lips without a social media FRENZY, I say it's a step in the right direction!
