The Creator Of 'Santa Clarita Diet' Wants To Make Season 4

One of the worst injustices for a television lover is when a fantastic show gets the axe before it has the chance to end the way it really deserves to.

At least we can be comforted by knowing that sometimes the show's creator is on our side and will actually give us details about how that end might actually go.

*Santa Clarita Diet* was a hugely popular Netflix show.

The show, which unfortunately got canceled after its third season, followed Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant as married real estate agents trying to deal with the fact that Drew's character died and came back as a zombie. The show ended with Drew's character turning Timothy's character into a zombie as well.

The show's creator, Victor Fresco, has given a new interview where he was asked about the possibility of a fourth season.

Fresco said that it was "something I think we all would want to do if everyone was available. Emotionally, everyone on the show would love to do some kind of closure."

Us fans would love some kind of closure too!

"We thought it would be fun to do a season with Joel and Sheila in the same boat — what that would look like," Fresco went on.

"I feel like this would be better for us and better for our fans too," he said. "Joel could have a different attitude [to Sheila], we would want him to be a little bit different in how he approaches things."

"It will be interesting to see him with that unleashed and what he turns into. So not just who he kills and how he kills but what kind of person he becomes."

"We had Abby and Eric's relationship which was turning into something interesting at the end of the series. To see Abby now as a hunter of the undead since both her parents are now undead," Fresco said.
