Dr. Jill Biden, America's next first lady, has taken to Twitter to share the first photo of her husband, Joe Biden, the 46th President of the United States, following his projected electoral victory on Saturday.
In the pic, Jill and Joe stand side-by-side with the president-elect holding a sign, presumably one that appears outside their own home, which reads, "Dr. & Vice President Biden Live Here."
A masked Jill has reached out her hand to cover the word "vice," making it quite clear that her husband has indeed been voted to lead America.
"He will be a President for all of our families," Jill tweeted alongside the photo.
In her August DNC speech, Jill acknowledged the pain the nation is feeling due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and promised that if elected president, her husband, who has experienced the immense grief of losing his first wife and daughter, will help the country heal:
"How do you make a broken family whole? The same way you make a nation whole: with love and understanding and with small acts of kindness. I know that if we entrust this nation to Joe, he will do for your family what he did for ours: bring us together and make us whole.”
