Betty White Prefers To Date Older Men: 'A Cougar I Am Not'

While you may never have thought about Betty White's dating life, I'm here to let you in on a little secret — Betty wants YOU to know she is not a cougar!

In her book, If You Ask Me, the actress made it clear she is not interested in dating anyone younger than her!

Betty White is best known for being everyone's favorite person!

Well, she's known for being an actress on shows like Golden Girls and Hot in Cleveland but, you know what I mean!

What you might not know, though, is Betty prides herself on *not* being a cougar.

In her book, If You Ask Me, the actress revealed her Hot in Cleveland costars used to ask her about her late husband, Allen Ludden. In fact, she revealed that her costars would ask about Allen so often that she had to find out why.

Their answer was heartwarming: "We love the look you get on your face when you talk about him,’” she wrote.

I'M NOT CRYING, YOU'RE CRYING!

When it comes to dating these days, Betty is clear on what she wants — an older man.

"Even at this age, once in a while I meet a man who seems a trifle more interesting than usual,” she wrote, according to Do You Remember.

"Nothing untoward—just someone who might be fun to know a little better. I’ve even thought (to myself) that it might be nice if he asked me to lunch or dinner, perhaps. Then reality kicks in and it cracks me up. This guy is probably a much younger man—maybe only 80—and not about to even look my way."

"At this moment in time, it seems somewhat current and choice for women to pair up with younger men," she continued.

"These guys are called ‘cougars.’ Well, animal lover that I am, a cougar I am not. All my life, even as a kid, I have preferred men older than I am. Unfortunately, today I don’t think there is anyone older than I am!"
