Chris Evans Reveals Donald Trump Refused To Work On Political Education Project With Him

Chris Evans is truly one of the ultimate hotties of Hollywood.

Not only is he kind, generous, and super talented, he follows proper COVID-19 protocols and calls out the president for not participating in an educational political website!

The actor recently sat down with Jimmy Kimmel and explained the president's disinterest in participating in his bipartisan project.

Chris Evans is the mega hunky actor best known for his role as Captain America.

Recently, however, the 36-year-old has expanded his reach into the world of politics.

Earlier this year he, along with Mark Kassen and Joe Kiani, launched the website, A Starting Point.

The bipartisan website aims to foster a connection between elected representatives and their constituents as well as create a more informed voter base.

He recently chatted with Jimmy Kimmel about A Starting Point.

Chris explained his new project, and revealed that it took about three years to get everything together. He first got the idea for it way back in 2017!

The actor explained how a bunch of celebrities and politicians recorded video messages for his project earlier this year.

One quick scroll through the website and you'll be able to watch videos and contributions from dozens of representatives.

However, one important person was missing — President Donald Trump.

When asked if he had personally approached the president, Chris confirmed he DID!

"You gotta. You gotta do it… I shouldn’t say it that way," he joked.

"No, I asked him, and he said no. He said no twice, and so it’s like, 'Well, I did my part.'"

President Trump's lack of participation shouldn't come as much of a surprise.

Chris has a long history of disagreeing with Trump on Twitter, and not being shy about it whatsoever.

Chris later revealed he's been so caught up in politics he didn't even watch the World Series earlier this week.

"I don’t know what it is, 2020 has kinda kicked my [expletive]" he admitted. "I’m normally a big sports guy. I’m a little preoccupied with politics these days."

President Trump has yet to comment on Chris' interview.
