This Singing And Dancing 5-Foot 'Grinch' Will Increase Your Spirit By Ten Grinches Plus Two

The season is officially upon us, which means I'm knee-deep in twinkle lights, handmade ornaments, and festive cocktails. But there's one thing missing from my house and it's a singing and dancing Grinch, because no one loves the Grinch like my gremlins.

As it turns out, there's a five-and-a-half-foot tall animatronic Grinch that's sure to be a real showstopper.

Let's hear what he's got to sing about, shall we?

The Grinch is getting down with his bad self.

Hammacher Schlemmer has brought our favorite green grumper to life, and he's sure to make the entire family laugh.

He speaks, he sings, and he sways his hips from side to side. (Which is basically how my dad dances.) I truly never thought I'd see the day when the Grinch got jiggy with it.

This Grinch is not leaving his negative vibes at the door, so approach with caution.

Be forewarned, however, this giant Grinch will not be entering your house full of Christmas cheer. He's his usual grumpy self and says things like, "Christmas? Bah, humbug," and dances his dad dance to the original 1966 version of "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch."

You'll need to read between the lines with this one, because there's no doubt that his heart will grow three sizes after your kids have some fun with him.

This lifelike Grinch is currently available through the retailer Hammacher Schlemmer for $250, which seems like a lot of cheddar to me when we're talking about a singing and dancing Christmas decoration.

But hey, if you want to have a truly Grinchy Christmas, I'm not here to judge your spending long as you don't judge my drinking habits!

There are lots of other Grinches to include in your Christmas plans this year.

The internet is lousy with Grinch options, though they might pale in comparison to one that actually sings and dances. My suggestion: put the movie on for the kids, mix up a batch of festive martinis, and let the TV do the entertaining. You know, like it did in the old days. That's why they call it Hollywood magic.
