She even reprised her role as Laurie in the 2018 version of Halloween and is set to star in the final Halloween movie, Halloween Ends, in 2022.

She and husband actor Christopher Guest adopted two kids, a boy and a girl, Annie (1986) and Thomas (1996).

5. She won't be returning to the sequel of *Knives Out*.

Last year, the actress dazzled in the highly-rated mystery comedy, which scored $300 million at the box office worldwide.

For instance, she once played Mary in an episode of The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries.

At one point, she even stole her friend's pills.

"So I wrote her a letter and I said, ‘I’ve done a terrible thing, and I’ve stolen your pills from you, and I’m sorry,'" she said.

While she attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, it was the only school that took her D average plus 840-combined SAT.
