There's nothing I like better than Halloween movies. Not horror movies, but Halloween movies — the fun, slightly spooky, always entertaining movies we see every year on TV around Halloween. Two of my favorites are Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown, and one eagle-eyed TikTok user may have just connected the two in a way I had never considered before!
Fan Finds 'Hocus Pocus' Easter Egg In 'Halloweentown II'
*Hocus Pocus* and *Halloweentown* have some similar elements.
They're both about very fun and delightful witches, they're both about Halloween, and they're both about kids trying to save their town from evil forces!
Of course, the witches are the evil forces in Hocus Pocus, but we just can't bring ourselves to hate the Sanderson Sisters.
One TikTok user just pointed out a connection between the two films that we had never noticed before.
TikTok user @lyssalyssalyssahh went viral for sharing something she'd caught at the end of Halloweentown II: Kalabar's Revenge.
“If you’re a Disney fan or you just enjoy Easter eggs or conspiracy theories, I recommend you keep watching,” she begins the video by saying.
She then points out that in the montage of different outfits a person is transformed into, one looks very familiar.
"Is this, or is this not, Sarah Sanderson's exact outfit?!" she asked excitedly. "Does this mean that Hocus Pocus and Halloween town exist in the same universe?"

They are very similar looking costumes, and there's no way it was an accident, right?
Personally, I'd love it if it turned out these two movies existed in the same universe. Talk about the most ambitious crossover in history!
