Woman's Happy Dance After Job Offer Captured In Amazing Viral CCTV Video

Trying to find a new job is harrowing at any time, but 2020 is just making it even harder. You're never sure if your former workplace might manage to reopen and save your job or if you should find something new — and then what if the pandemic forces the new place to close too?

Which is probably why one excited new hire's spontaneous happy dance struck such a chord online.

Dakara Spence is a manager of a restaurant called The Spot in Decatur, Georgia.

She was looking for new servers and after hiring one applicant, she happened to spot the girl's amazing response on the parking lot CCTV and decided to share the delight on her Instagram page.

In the video, you see the woman walk to the end of an empty accessible spot before pausing, glancing about, and then breaking into an infectious dance of joy.

The new server identified herself as a woman named Kallayah when she commented on the post.

In an interview with CBS 46, Kallayah said:

"Ms. Dakara didn’t know but I was going through so much and at that point when she gave me this chance and this opportunity. I was elated, excited and so overwhelmed to the point where no one understood how happy and accomplished I felt at that moment."

When she invited the applicant for an interview Dakara had no idea how important the job opportunity was.

Kallayah has been struggling with homelessness for two years and the pandemic had not only made it harder to just find a job, but also to keep one.

She'd been let go a number of times in the last few months.

Both manager and new hire are enjoying the hell out of their moment of viral fame.

"She had a great energy I felt it as soon as she walked in she seemed really positive," Dakara said, describing the interview.

I have the feeling plenty of customers will be asking Kallayah to repeat her performance in person!
