Twitter Roasts Disney After Tweet Celebrating 'The Worst Disney Father Ever'

One of the best parts of cinema is that everyone can have their own interpretation of the plot, themes, and overall meaning of movies, and that nobody is really "correct" or "incorrect" in their own decisions.

Except, of course, when it comes to the literal plot points in the film. Those have an objective truth, even if the people who made the movie forget about it.

*Chicken Little* is a Disney film that came out in 2005.

Based on the similarly named famous fable, the story surrounds young Chicken Little, who's attempts to warn the people of his town that the sky is falling are ridiculed and not believed until it's almost too late, even by his own father, Buck Cluck.

Disney seemed to have a different interpretation of the relationship bettwen Buck and Chicken Little.

The company tweeted "Family is there for you when the sky is falling," with an adorable drawing of Chicken Little and his father.

However, fans were quick to roast the company, saying that the entire point of the movie was that Buck was not there for Chicken Little and did not believe that the sky was falling at all.

Fans were not happy.

"The plot of this movie is literally how he refused to believe his son when he claimed the sky was falling what the hell are you talking about?" one fan tweeted, while others compiled lists of movies it would've been more appropriate to reference.

Fans took to the Twitter replies to comment on this tweet.

"If y’all really wanted to use Chicken Little as an example, you could have kept the caption exactly the same, but used a pic of his chosen family who was actually there for him," one fan tweeted with a picture of Chicken Little's friends from the movies.
