I don't know about the rest of you, but I am really looking forward to Christmas this year. For one thing, I love decorating the house and filling it with the smell of baking gingerbread. For another, I seriously cannot wait to see 2020 come to an end.
But now I have another reason: Aldi is releasing their slew of advent calendars and the popular wine one is coming out first.
There's no question that 2020 has been a doozy. So, what better way to countdown the dying days of the year than to knock back a new wine every night?
Hear me out. Aldi is also offering beer and hard seltzer calendars, along with the usual chocolate and cheese offerings — there're 20 calendars in total — since the holiday season is all about perfect pairings. But that doesn't mean you have to share.
Just in time for the greatest celebration of the year, Aldi will also release their Sparkling Wine Countdown calendar, because never before have we been so happy to see a year come to an end.
Aldi's wine, beer, and hard seltzer calendars will be available in time for National Advent Calendar Day on Nov. 4. The sparkling wine calendar will be available in December.
Some calendars will have a limit of two per person and they will not be available to InstaCart shoppers.
Let the countdown — and the drinking — begin!
