Singing Parrot Goes Viral For Flawless Rendition Of Beyoncé Hit, 'If I Were A Boy'

Believe it or not, there's a singing parrot in England who the internet has declared a bonafide star on the rise. Seriously, just wait; soon the name on everybody's lips is going to be "Chico."

As PEOPLE reported, the nine-year-old yellow-crowned Amazon parrot from the Lincolnshire Wildlife Park in Friskney has recently gone viral after he was filmed flawlessly belting out Beyoncé's 2008 hit, "If I Were a Boy."

Presumably a passionate member of the so-called "Beyhive", this little birdie spends his days giving Mrs. Knowles-Carter a run for her money.

Visitors to the wildlife park are often treated to a free show as Chico does his best Beyoncé impression from inside his cage.

Although he never seems to get past the first line of the chorus, his efforts are definitely enough to delight awaiting crowds who laugh while they admire his impromptu performances.

In just one of his viral clips online, we get to watch Chico as he performs a few vocal warm-ups before going for the big number.

Meanwhile, his "backup singers" (AKA fellow parrots) are happy to simply chirp and croak in the background, going out of their way to create the perfect setting for their pal Chico's little show.

Apparently, Chico isn't afraid to try his hand at imitating other famous singers besides Queen Bey herself.

According to PEOPLE, Julie Gregory, who was Chico's previous owner, has mentioned in the comment section on one of his Facebook videos that he can actually near-perfect renditions of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face", Katy Perry's "Firework", and Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy".

Clearly this is no one-note parrot we're dealing with here, but tragically there doesn't seem to be any videos available yet demonstrate his other song stylings.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Wildlife said Chico is "wonderful" and confirmed that he gets along well with the other animals and visitors alike.

"He has resided here for a little over 18 months and without doubt he’s one of the star attractions," the spokesperson told the Boston Standard. "Only being nine-years-old means he has many years of entertaining in front of him and who knows, Simon Cowell may have started X Factor for animals by then!”
