'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Has Been Renewed For An 8th Season Coming In 2021

Cool, cool cool cool cool cool. No doubt, no doubt, no doubt there is no better news to round out what might be the longest summer in the world than with the news that our favorite funny cop show, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is officially renewed for an eighth season that we will get to watch next year.

It''s exactly what we all needed!

*Brooklyn Nine-Nine* is one of the most beloved comedies still running.

The show, which follows the 99th precinct of the NYPD starring Andy Samberg and Terry Crews, has been capturing audiences' heart with its humor and its lovable characters who we've all grown with over the past seven seasons.

Fans of the show just got some very good news.

The show's Twitter account just tweeted NBC's upcoming schedule for shows which has the eighth season of B99 slated for some time in 2021.

While we'd all love it as soon as possible, obviously the pandemic has thrown a wrench into a lot of television schedules.

Fans are ecstatic, obviously.

"I’ll watch it over and over again until we get a new season," one fan tweeted, while another added, "I really miss the show, looking forward what's in store for us as I have complete trust with the writers and cast of Nine-Nine."

How excited are you?

I think I'm going to spend the rest of the time before the show comes back binge-watching all seven seasons just so I know I'm all caught up when we get new episodes.
