There are a lot of musicians and artists who love to tease their fans and leave little hints about their upcoming projects, but Katy Perry has really taken that a step further by leaving hints for her fans about her baby's name, which they announced on August 27th.
Fans are just realizing they technically knew the baby's name months ago.
We shouldn't be surprised that she would bring that energy to her pregnancy as well. Katy started off by revealing her pregnancy through a music video, which fans went crazy for.
It was a dramatic moment that really stunned fans who had no idea that Katy and her fiancé Orlando Bloom were expecting a baby.
It makes sense she would use her music to secretly announce more details about her baby!
“We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter," the couple wrote on Instagram. She also asked people to celebrate their daughter's birth by making a donation to UNICEF.
"As UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors, we know UNICEF is there, on the ground, doing whatever it takes to make sure every expecting mother has access to a trained health worker and access to quality healthcare," they wrote.
Katy recently released a single called "Daisies" and she frequently said it was her and Orlando Bloom's favorite song on her new album, Smile.
She also frequently wore daisy-patterned clothing around the same time during her pregnancy.
It's clear that the name and the flower have a lot of meaning for Katy and Orlando, which I think is super cute and very sweet. While the rest of the world didn't know in February that Katy was expecting, she did!
I feel silly for not guessing this name sooner!

It's been a big week for her: Her album, Smile, dropped on August 28th, the same week as the birth of her daughter. As Katy put it herself, "[don't expletive] with mama!"
