Or as we wish, more like. Ravensburger announced that they are coming out with a Princess Bride board game, and it looks incredible.
Called The Princess Bride Adventure Book Game, Ravensburger says it's a "chapter-based board game" that is sure to delight fans everywhere.
How iconic does this look? The game is totally unique, too, in that it can be played solo, or with up to four players.
And don't worry — the look and feel of the movie are totally preserved in the game.
"[...] players need to work together to keep the plot of the story on course and tell all six chapters despite constant interruptions from a sick Grandson and interference from Vizzini, Count Rugen and Prince Humperdink," Ravensburger said in a press release.
"Players cooperate to complete challenges by moving the seven paintable character miniatures and discarding Story cards from their hand."
Sign me up to paint one of those ASAP.
It will launch at Target on October 4th! No word on when it'll hit other retailers, but I suspect places like Amazon won't be far behind. True wuv for The Princess Bride prevails, after all.
