Company Creates Hilariously Inappropriate Masks Guaranteed To Keep People Six Feet Away

Non-medical face masks have become the necessary but unexpected fashion accessory of 2020. In most countries, including the United States, people have been mandated by health officials to wear masks in public in an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19.

Now companies are offering reusable, cloth masks in every color and pattern imaginable to meet the demand from consumers who want to stay safe and look stylish at the same time.

Designer Sabrina Lutsek, the owner of iStitchDezigns, has decided to add a little fun and humor into her face mask designs with a range of styles that can only be described as hilariously inappropriate.

IStitchDezigns is an online retailer based in Crystal Lake, Illinois, that specializes in a wide range of custom products.

Latusek, a stay-at-home mom of two, founded the company in 2016 when she began embroidering custom birth announcements on stuffed animals.

In just a few short years, iStitchDezigns has grown to include a number of customizable products including clothing, drinkware, and home decor.

In April 2020, the company added a new product: custom face masks.

The company currently has over 20 face mask designs to choose from, as well as the option for businesses to customize face masks with their logo.

Each mask is made from a cotton and polyester blend and retails for $14. They are not medical-grade masks but do meet the Center for Disease Control's requirements to slow the spread of COVID-19 through the use of simple, cloth face coverings.

For those looking to insert a little cheeky humor into their mask style, iStitchDezigns has a special collection just for you.

The company's "inappropriate" face mask and neck gaiter designs feature hilarious patterns including a rude unicorn flipping the bird which was co-designed with Leah Hall of Halleahwood Designs. Another design has a colorful, cartoon penis pattern.

Latusek says these inappropriate mask designs were created to make people laugh.

"I want people to enjoy and have something unique to their own style. I love a good laugh, so why not share some laughter?" she said in an email to Diply.

She explained that most people have had a positive reaction when she's worn them out in public.

"The inappropriate penis masks are a design that I have created and I get laughs all the time when I wear my mask or gaiter. I'm not going to lie, I get evil looks, too," she said.

The masks have also been popular with iStitchDezigns customers.

Latusek said both the "multicolor just penis" masks and the "black background penis with flower" masks have been big hits with customers looking to add some sass and laughs to their mask wardrobes.
