Betty White Reflects On The 'Great Fun' She Had Working On 'The Golden Girls'

Betty White is truly one of the most beloved people on the planet! You know what else is super beloved on this planet?! The Golden Girls!

There is no denying the powerhouse of Betty White, Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty gave us television to be enjoyed for decades!

Now, Betty is reflecting on those times and telling fans all about the fun she had!

*The Golden Girls* was a sitcom set in Miami, Florida that followed three single (divorced or widowed) girlfriends, and one mother, all living together under one roof!


The show ran from 1985-1992 and gave fans seven glorious seasons!

"It was always great fun shooting each episode," Betty told "Good Morning America" in a statement. "[I] truly miss everyone involved."

I believe it! The Golden Girls truly looked like the dream job!

In regards to her 7 Emmy nominations for her work on *Golden Girls* Betty joked she should quit while she's ahead!


In total, the 98-year-old actress has been nominated 21 times for her work on TV shows including Hot in Cleveland and her reality series, Betty White's Off Their Rockers.

“I’m just gonna quit while I’m ahead,” Betty joked.

"It’s incredible you can stay in a career this long and still have people put up with you. I wish they did that at home," she concluded.
