Some people have been going to great lengths in order to not wear a mask, despite recommendations from medical experts.

Of course, people have been responding to the pushback against masks — even celebrities.

Some celebrities have used their platform to encourage mask use.

Like Tom Hanks, who recovered from the coronavirus earlier this year. Tom made a video stating, "If you can't wear a mask and wash your hands and social distance, I don't understand. I got no respect for you. I don't buy your argument."

Jennifer Aniston is another celebrity who has addressed the controversy, saying,"I really do believe in the basic goodness of people so I know we can all do this."

"BUT still, there are many people in our country refusing to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve, and keep each other safe. People seem worried about their “rights being taken away” by being asked to wear a mask," she continued.

"This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives."

"And it really shouldn’t be a debate. If you care about human life, please... just #wearadamnmask and encourage those around you to do the same," she finished.

Jennifer wasn't done with her pleas for others to wear masks, however.

Jennifer Aniston has been outspoken about the necessary use of masks for a while.

Previously, she had written on Instagram, "I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down... jobs are being lost... health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough." But she recently stepped up her insistence.

"This is our friend Kevin. Perfectly healthy, not one underlying health issue. This is Covid. This is real," Jennifer wrote in a new Instagram post.

"We can't be so naive to think we can outrun this...if we want this to end, and we do, right? The one step we can take is PLEASE #wearadamnmask," she wrote alongside this image of her friend in the hospital who had been intubated.

Jennifer and Courteney also shared a more humorous plea for mask-wearing.

Courteney shared a video of two dogs having an "argument" about wearing masks before showing her and Jen both donning a mask, playfully holding masks up over their dogs' faces as well.

"Just think about those who've already suffered through this horrible virus."

"Do it for your family. And most of all yourself. Covid affects all ages.

"PS this photo was taken in early April. Thank god he has almost recovered now," Jennifer added as an update to Kevin's health situation for the many concerned fans in her comments.

"Thank you all for your prayers."

Jennifer also included a photograph of her and her Friends co-star, Courteney Cox, wearing matching masks and looking pretty stylish doing so!

We love to see celebrities using their massive influence for good!

Jen's celeb friends were definitely here for her post.

"Baffling why this so hard for some people," wrote Michelle Pfeiffer, while Gwyneth Paltrow added, "Right on, sister."

It wasn't just fellow celebrities who supported her, though.

Jen received tons of support from fans for her passion for mask-wearing.

"Jennifer Aniston and her pal say 'Wear a damn mask' & no asterisk about exceptions. They don't say 'it's ok to jeopardize somebody else's life because you say a mask isn't comfy, or it fogs up your glasses.' The sense of entitlement makes no sense," one fan tweeted.
