There's so much more to Elizabeth Olsen than just being Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's younger sister.

She waited to pursue acting to avoid being a child star, she crushed it as Scarlet Witch all on her own, and she was even studying at NYU.

1. Yes, in case you didn't already put it together, she is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen:

She's only three years younger than her famous siblings.

Mary-Kate and Ashley even named their fashion line "Elizabeth & James" after her. So cute!

2. She was embarrassed to be an actress:

That's because she didn't want to feel like she was copying her older sisters.

"Living in L.A., I was embarrassed to say that I wanted to be an actor," she said in an interview with Interview magazine.

"When I was 14 or 15, I was a really good volleyball player, so I thought, Well, maybe I’ll just get a scholarship to an Ivy League school through volleyball."

She continued:

"When I quit when I decided to focus on theater. I had a great drama teacher in high school, and that’s when I started to learn about the history of theater.”

3. She doesn't believe in nepotism:

In an interview with The Guardian, she revealed she's never played the famous sisters' card to get roles.

"I figured I'd keep acting as a hobby until I was older. Because I felt that pressure, and that people would say, 'Oh, that's nepotism.'"

"I decided that as long as I felt confident and worked hard for it, instead of having it handed to me, no one could take that away from me."

She continued:

"I don't have any insecurity about it. I never got any job because of my sisters. I could have pulled a few strings through them, but I never needed to."

4. She's a lot taller than her sisters:

While Mary-Kate and Ashley are pint-sized at 4'11, Elizabeth is 5'7.

Sadly, this meant that she couldn't borrow her sisters clothes anymore. “I overgrew them in high school,” she told Refinery29.

“And then all of my friends started getting their hand-me-downs."

"So I’ll be like “Hey Eliza, what is that dress?’ to one of my best friends. And she’ll say, ‘Oh, its Mary-Kate’s, she’s getting rid of some stuff.’ And I’m always like, ‘Great, because I couldn’t fit into it!'" she continued.

"I go by Lizzie every time I make reservations or meet people in a non-business way," she told Refinery 29.

"I’ve started to introduce myself as Elizabeth in the industry, because people get confused about what to call me, and I get confused, too! But I’m going to use my legal name with everything for film."

6. She used to be engaged to Boyd Holbrook:

In fact, he told Man of the World's Issue No. 14, that "On the same day that my best friend died, I got a call from my girl to tell me it was over."

7. She wants to finish her degree:

Since she got cast in Marta while at New York University, she took the semester off.

Problem is, she's yet to go back. “I’m still trying to figure out how I can finish my degree while doing all this!” she told Glamour.

8. She loves to cook:

“I’m a huge foodie,” she told Shine On Media.

“I love cooking and going to restaurants. That’s something I actively do. For my birthday my mom and I went to Williams & Sonoma and she bought me pots."

"I threw them seasonally. I really like making this one pasta with raw zucchini. You just make zucchini look like pasta and you marinate it in a sauce and it just becomes a pasta.”

She told The Daily Beast that she was actually happy about this.
