Doctor On TikTok Goes Viral For His Gentle Method Of Administering Shots To Babies

There are many things that children, and even adults, are scared of. Some of us fear bugs, others fear scary movies, but there are lots of people across the world that absolutely fear getting shots at the doctor's office. No matter what the reason behind this fear is, getting a needle is not really a favorite situation for anyone at all.

Once you hear those cries and screams in the waiting room, you know that somewhere in that office, a baby is getting their shots done. And, your heart just breaks for them!

What if there was a way for doctors to ensure that babies felt no pain and didn't cry when they were getting their shots done?

It sounds like an impossible mission, but there are professionals out there who go above and beyond to make sure that their patients feel comfortable coming into their office when getting their shots done.

One mom recently shared a video of her adorable baby boy at the doctor, proving some pediatricians go above and beyond for their patients.

Baby Noah is seen at the doctor's office ready to get his shot. His doctor, who the mom identifies as Dr. William Gerba, hums and makes fun noises to tunes of different songs while he pokes around Noah's little body, making him laugh.

The video is so sweet, it melts your entire heart.

The doctor uses the closed shot needle to tickle around Noah's arms and legs, almost preparing him to get comfortable with being "poked" with something like a needle. His laughter the entire time is contagious.

Even when Noah gets his shot, he hardly realizes what is going on.

He does stop for a moment, but the doctor continues his melody and making sounds that crack Noah up. He continues to giggle and keep a wide smile on his face.

Noah's mom said she is so grateful for the doctor and all that he does.

Siphora Bangiyeva, Noah's mother, told BuzzFeed that she used to "dread" thinking of Noah's shots. But, this doctor makes it so easy, she almost looks forward to getting all of his vaccinations done to see her baby smiling.

Apparently, this isn't Dr. Gerba's first time going viral.

BuzzFeed reported that in 2018, Dr. Gerba also went viral for the same method. Seeing as Noah's face is always bright and smiling when he gets his shots, we can only imagine how many other babies are excited to see him.
