Demi Moore Admits The Couch In Her Bathroom Was For Recording Purposes

Fun fact about Demi Moore: She has a carpeted bathroom, complete with a sofa!

Two highly unconventional things to have in a bathroom, I would say.

But in a recent episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers, Demi revealed that she actually has a reasonable explanation as to why there's a couch in her bathroom that may surprise you!

In a recent episode of *Late Night With Seth Meyers*, Seth questioned Demi Moore about the way her bathroom is decorated.

I mean, not only is it carpeted, but it also has a couch in it...?

Needless to say, there were a lot of questions surrounding that fact.

She revealed that the house was mainly decorated by her ex, Bruce Willis. But no, he didn't put the couch in there.

"This is the house that my children grew up in and that, originally, was a Bruce Willis choice. Not to put it off on him," she said.

To be fair, she added that having a carpeted bathroom has come in handy during cold weather.

"We also live in the mountains where it gets very cold. So, it's never bothered me. It's actually quite good."

She admitted that she was amused by the interest Seth was taking in her home and all of its unconventional features.

"But I appreciate the interest that has gone into all of my little oddities," she said.

I mean, how could we not want to know?

"Because this place definitely houses a lot of my treasures," she explained.

She said that certain quirks of hers have brought her and her family a ton of laughs, because of how well they know her.

"And I have had some big laughs over the comments with my family who know me well, of all of my eccentricities of small and large," she said.

As for the sofa in her bathroom, Demi actually has a pretty solid explanation for it.

She simply needed a comfortable place to sit while she films her podcast and interviews such as this one, in the room that produces the clearest audio.

That room just so happens to be her bathroom, so that is where she decided to park her recording station.

"The couch is not normally in my bathroom," she admitted.

"I had to move all that in because we were doing the podcast and we had to find the place for the best sound."

She explained that she first tested out the sound in her closet, and other rooms throughout her home, before settling for the bathroom.

"So, I did a test in my closet, I did in various places," she said.

"What came back is that the bathroom had the best sound, she went on.

She explained that because she was spending so much time in her bathroom working, but she knew she couldn't bring any full-sized furniture in, she thought bringing in her mini sofa would be perfect.

"So, I was there for many hours a day, but I couldn't bring full-sized furniture in," she said.

Turns out, the mini couch in her bathroom is one that she actually made, herself, for her children when they were young.

"This little miniature couch is something I made for my children long ago and so I just whipped this baby in there," she said.

She added that she likes working out of her bathroom because, in a way, it's a place of solitude.

"I would have these scenes we did where it's in a therapist's office and we're, like, screaming at each other," she continued.

"And then we'd go on our lunch break and I'd go out into the kitchen and there's everybody saying, 'Hey!'"

She concluded by explaining what her new podcast, *Dirty Diana*, is about.

"[It's] really trying to open up the window from the female gaze," she said. "At the heart of this, it's about a relationship really being at its bottom and making its way back."

"But I'm sitting in my little tiny bathroom," she joked.
