Full disclosure: This story is gonna hit different for '90s kids.
A few months ago, the actress who played Angela in Boy Meets World, Trina McGee, came forward to address some of the racism she faced on the set of the show.
Since then, Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga, has come forward, admitting that she has been "rude, cold, and distant" to Trina in the past.
While your memory of the iconic '90s sitcom might be fond, not everybody feels that way...
Initially, at the beginning of 2020, she opened up in a series of tweets about the racism she faced BTS.
She revealed that she was "Called aunt Jemima on set during hair and make up."
"Told 'it was nice of you to join us' like a stranger after 60 episodes," she added.
"None of those three colleagues had children," she went on. "Just cowardly egos and hot diarrhea mouths".
When a fan replied, asking if Rider Strong (who played Shawn) was involved, Trina quickly excluded him from her criticisms, clarifying that he had nothing to do with it.
Back in April, in an Instagram live video, Trina back-peddled, saying that she was "PMSing" when she made her initial remarks on Twitter.
She then claimed that in hindsight, she doesn't know if she would still classify the aforementioned behavior as racism or not.
Trina explained that Will did eventually apologize to her which was "healing".
But she added that she didn't find it "completely sincere".
Prior to Trina shedding light on how she was mistreated while filming Boy Meets World, she made an appearance on the recent spin-off, Girl Meets World.
And Danielle Fishel just admitted that she was "rude, cold, and distant" to Trina during her brief time on Girl Meets World.
"I owed [Trina] an apology for being rude, cold, & distant," she replied.
She gave a surprising amount of detail.
"When she guest starred on GMW (her tweet regarding warm hellos being met with cold blank stares was about me)."
And her story checks out!
Trina was interviewed by Yahoo Entertainment, and defended Danielle for the way she treated her on the set of GMW.
But here's the tea: Trina says she doesn't speak to Ben Savage whatsoever.
“I do not talk to Ben Savage at all,” she revealed.
She said the "the tension [and] disrespect," she received was "extremely stressful."
Unfortunately, it does not seem like that will be happening anytime soon for her, Ben, and Will.
But time will tell!
