Kanye West's Brand 'Yeezy' Getting Multi-Million Dollar Loan From Government Stimulus Fund

The world of politics and the government can be pretty confusing to the average person, especially one who might not have a lot of insight into how it all comes together. For some people, seeing that a company run by a billionaire received funds from a stimulus package doesn't sit right, but for others, any job saved in any industry is definitely a good thing.

Kanye West has also just announced his intent to run for President of the United States.

"We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States," Kanye recently tweeted, adding the hashtag "#2020Vision."

Kanye does have another tie to the government right now in the form of a stimulus check.

The United States Payment Protection Program established by President Trump recently released the list of all the business that received a loan through their application, which is meant to help small to medium businesses through the current pandemic.

Kanye's brand Yeezy received a loan between $2 to 5 million dollars.

According to The Treasury, the Yeezy brand filed through City National Bank and reported that 106 jobs had been saved through receiving the stimulus package.

Kanye has in the past estimated that his personal net worth is more than $3 billion dollars.
