'7th Heaven' Star Beverley Mitchell Tricked By Comedian Into Giving A Shoutout To Serial Killer

Australian podcast host and comedian, Tom Armstrong, pulled the most hilarious (and slightly disturbing) prank that I've seen in a long time on 7th Heaven star, Beverly Mitchell.

He somehow managed to trick her into giving a heartwarming shout-out to one of the most notorious Australian serial killers, who died last year while serving a life sentence in jail.

Quarantine has certainly forced us to get a bit more creative in the ways we entertain ourselves.

For some, that has meant giving more time to their hobbies, exercising, cleaning, or learning a new skill.

For others, it has meant refining their pranking skills!

Take comedian and podcast host, Tom Armstrong, for example!

In a recent interview with actress, Beverley Mitchell, he managed to trick her into giving a kind, thoughtful shout-out to a notorious Australian serial killer named Ivan Milat.

For those of you that aren't Familiar with Beverley Mitchell, here's what you need to know:

Her first big film role came in 1996 when she starred in The Crow: City of Angels.

It was such a hit, that it landed her, what eventually went on to be her most iconic gig, 7th Heaven.

You may also recognize her from *Sinatra*, *The Secret Life Of The American Teenager, Saw II*, or "Right On Track".

But without a doubt, her most remarkable role was "Lucy" in 7th Heaven, 1996.

Hopefully all of that finally rang a bell for you.

More recently she has been in *Get Out Alive, Taken Too Far, Dance Dance Baby, Hollywood Darlings,* and she currently has two projects in post-production stage!

Blood Pageant and Candy Cane Christmas.

So, all that to say, Beverley has been staying busy!

While she has been staying busy, one thing she hasn't been doing is reading up on infamous serial killers.

Anyways, recently on Tom Armstrong was able to get Beverley to give Ivan Milat a friendly shout-out in a TikTok video.

I won't get into the truly disturbing details of Ivan Milat, but here's what you should know:

He was convicted for the chilling and violent murders of several backpackers back in the late '80s and early '90s.

He is said to be responsible for the disappearance of 20 different women. But he was given a life sentence for the murder of seven of those women.

He died of cancer at the age of 74 while serving his life sentence.

Evidently, however, Beverley had no idea who Ivan was.

“Hey Ivan! Not many people pick up hitchhikers anymore, but you really helped out the backpacker gang," she said in a TikTok video.

"And you belong in *7th Heaven*," she added.

"So thank you, we need more people in the world like you Ivan…Milat, I hope I’m saying that right".

This is such a mean prank!

“Sending you lots of love," she went on.

"And thank you again for being such a big fan and for just being awesome and being you," she concluded.

So, how did Tom trick Beverley into doing this? Great question.

Beverley is apparently a member on an app called "Cameo" —used to pay celebrities to give shout-outs to regular people.

So, if you ever want to pay a celebrity to wish your friend a happy birthday, that is the place to look!

But in this case, it was used against the celebrity.

We're assuming that Tom used the messaging service to trick Beverley into recording the video.

While this is definitely a cruel prank, it's also hilarious! Hopefully, she doesn't have any hard feelings!

What do you think of Tom Armstrong pranking *7th Heaven* star, Beverley Mitchell, into giving an infamous serial killer a friendly shout-out on TikTok?
