On Sunday, June 7, she delivered a powerful commencement address to graduating seniors. This was part of YouTube's "Dear Class of 2020" event.

The 'Bad Romance' singer was joined by fellow celebs, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, as well as Barack and Michelle Obama.

Gaga revealed that she rewrote her speech after the murder of George Floyd.

"My speech was recorded before the murder of George Floyd and the subsequent activist movement protesting police brutality and systemic racism in this country," she began.

"While my original commencement speech might not be directly relevant to what this country needs right now, I wish to tell you today, that although there is much to be sad about, there is much to be celebrated," Gaga continued.

She went on to talk about the current events going in the world and called for change.

She also encouraged the graduating seniors to be kind.

"My answer of kindness is simple. But it's mine. Because, right now, more than usual, we're trying to talk to each other. Let's talk."

As it turns out, that wasn't the only good deed the singer has accomplished in June.

Earlier this week, Lady Gaga went viral for the sweetest of reasons.

On Wednesday, the 'Rain on Me' singer was photographed giving her leather jacket to a fan outside of a market in Malibu, Calif.

This fan was 27-year-old Shannon McKee, who recently spoke to Today about the exchange.

"I walked in and I was like, 'Hey, that's a really bad [expletive] jacket you got on," she recalled.

"And she said, 'Thank you.' I kind of recognized the voice, but I'm not one to really go up to celebrities."

But as soon as she realized that it was Lady Gaga, she knew she had to say something.

So she decided to take the opportunity to praise Gaga, who had been out with her boyfriend, Michael Polansky.

She did so by praising the singer for always supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

Just last June, Gaga delivered a moving speech to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall uprising.

While dressed in a rainbow outfit, she said, "This is your freedom. This is your joy that you have deserved always. I will not stop in pursuit of this liberation."

"True love, true, true love is when you would take a bullet for someone and you know that I would take a bullet for you any day of the week," she added.

With such a moving speech like that, no wonder McKee had to say something.

"I did have a story that I wanted to share with her, and I felt this need that she needed to hear it from me," McKee continued to Today.

"And so when I went back, I was like, 'Hey, you're Lady Gaga, right?"

Shannon then told the singer that her best friend in high school was a huge fan of hers and actually came out to her because of the singer.

"And his first five tattoos are all dedicated to you and my brother just recently came out to me, too."

"So I just wanted to say thank you for being such an incredible ally."

So sweet! But what happened next was even sweeter.

Gaga was so touched by the story that she started to remove her jacket.

"As I was telling her the story about my friend, she took off her jacket and was like, 'You loved my jacket so much. Here. It's yours."

The 'Bad Romance' singer continued:

"Put it on right now. You be bad [expletive] with it now,'" she recalled.

She also mentioned that Gaga said that "she didn't feel comfortable posing for a picture close to her home."

After the heartwarming exchange, McKee took to social media to share the experience.

In an Instagram, which has since been deleted, she began by saying,

"I couldn't have been more thankful to have met someone as sweet and caring and compassionate and just an overall beautiful person as her," she said.

"I wanted to cry because it was so heartfelt in that moment."

She continued:

"I have been a fan of hers since I was in high school. Timing is everything. I truly believe in this moment of time...it needed to happen."

This sweet moment has been praised online. It's even led to some hilarious memes, like this one:

"She's called MOTHER monster for one of those reasons. I love her," this fan commented.
