People Are Sharing Pics Of Old Gadgets They've Held On To Over The Years

Are you one of those people who likes to hold on to things for a long time? I gotta admit, I'm kinda like that, too. Especially when it comes to old gadgets.

I mean, if they still work then why not, right? It turns out there are lots of people out there who still keep their old gadgets and I say kudos to them.

OMG, get a load of this kitchen.

If you can believe it, this person has a fridge that's actually from the 1950s. What? How cool is that? I'm obsessed with this retro look. And check out all those other appliances, too.

Speaking of cool appliances, get a load of this mixer.

Talk about a nostalgia item here. I gotta say, I'm all for the vintage look. The way things were made back then was so much better. At least, that's what I think.

This person really hit the jackpot.

Not only does he have one working gadget like this coffee grinder but also the coolest boombox. Ha, ha! I wish I still had my old boombox from the '80s, too. That would be so rad.

How about a 120-year-old sewing machine?

I can't believe it still works. See, this is exactly why people say, "They don't make things like they used to." Imagine if you bought one now. It wouldn't last this long.

Oh my goodness, what is that?

This person says they use it as a calculator. I've never seen anything like this before. Apparently, it's some kind of pocket computer developed by the British company Psion in the 1980s. Hmm, interesting.

How about this WWII-era radio? Doesn't that look so cool?

There's just something about those old radios. It must be the history they carry with them. Am I right? I think they are really special pieces of equipment indeed.

Who says you can't mix old technology with new?

This person said that they link their phone up for Spotify through the speakers of this LP player. Wow, that's so awesome. Why get something new if this still works?

I thought I'd seen some cool scales before but this one takes the cake.

It looks just a little bit complicated for me but this person seems to enjoy using it. I think it's a very interesting piece of equipment.

What? Somebody is still using a toaster that's from the 1920s? Whoa!

That's pretty dang old. I had no idea toasters were already grooving back then. Ha, ha! Proves how much I know. This one does look a bit dated, though.

Oh my gosh! This reminds me of all my old rotary phones back in the day.

Now, of course, I wish I had kept some of them. They're just the epitome of cool. I mean, vintage cool, that is. Ha, ha!

I had no idea this even existed. Get a load of this vintage TV remote control.

Recently, my fiancé 'fessed up and told me he used to have one of these. What? How is it that I've never seen one in real life?

And I thought my old Walkman was an antique.

This analog radio looks even older than the Walkman I used to have. I actually didn't know they made something like this, too. Doesn't it look so cool? Nice.

Speaking of radios, how about this one that's straight out of the 1950s?

It looks like it has a face or something. Do you see it too? I gotta say, it's creeping me out just a little bit.

Oh wow! Who knew you could still use hair clippers from the 1950s, too?

Apparently, they haven't changed the look of the basic model that much. I guess what's classic is classic, am I right? Why mess with a good thing?

And if you're a fan of Edison, you'll definitely appreciate this piece.

It's a 1906 Edison Amberola. It even has drawers full of wax rolls to play with. Apparently it plays four minute Blue Amberol records. What an interesting machine.

What if you were the lucky owner of this 40-year-old Atari video computer system?

Would you still play with it or sell it to the highest bidder? I guess that would be an interesting dilemma indeed. Am I right?

There's no way I would have known what this thing even is.

Apparently it's a Spong's bean slicer and it's 67 years old. Who knew such a thing even existed? LOL! I guess it would come in handy if you eat a lot of beans.

Quick question, would you use a 73-year-old stove? Asking for a friend.

Well, if it still works, then why not? This one looks pretty dang good for being this old — and even better after being re-enameled.

I'm not sure how this game is played but it does look pretty fun.

Apparently, it's from the '80s but I've never heard of it either. Have you seen such a thing? I wanna know. Is it interesting to play?

OMG, I had the same exact game. I dunno if I still have it somewhere though.

I think I might've thrown it away when I was moving. I remember killing countless hours playing this thing. It was so much fun.

Okay, I think I've saved the best for last.

Get a load of this pure vintage 1960 Rock-Ola 1484 Jukebox. Wow! What a gem. I would love to have a piece of amazing equipment like this in my home. I love it!

So what is the oldest tech gadget you have in your posession?

I wish I'd kept some of my vintage pieces. But sadly, I got rid of most of them when I was moving. Now I'm totally kicking myself for it.
