Dog The Bounty Hunter's Daughter Gives Emotional Interview About Beth's Final Days

Losing a loved one is an intensely painful and personal experience, but when those involved choose to share their grief publicly, the world can mourn with them.

As we approach the one year anniversary of Beth Chapman's death, her daughter Cecily has spoken out about the traumatic final days of the reality star.

Beth Chapman had been married to Dog Chapman for thirteen years, but tragically passed away last year at the age of 51.

Beth had been diagnosed with stage-four throat cancer the year before, but passed away on June 26th, 2019 after a long and tough fight. Much of her battle with her illness was documented in the show Dog's Most Wanted.

Dog has been very public in grieving his wife.

"A lot of valentines days memories that will last forever," Dog wrote alongside a video of a collection of different snap shots of Dog and Beth on various Valentine's Days together earlier this year in one example of his mourning.

Cecily Chapman has just now publicly spoken out for the first time about her mother's passing, describing her final days.

"I can't even believe it's the first year. I still feel like I was in the hospital yesterday. It's a rough feeling," Beth's daugher Cecily has revealed.

"Honestly, those five days in the hospital were probably the worst days of my whole entire life. It was like going to a hospital to have a baby and then you left without your baby," Cecily told The Sun.

"When it first happened, I just thought maybe she was just having difficult breathing."

"You don't think about the worst case scenario. I never would have thought that that was the last time I would speak to her that morning," Cecily revealed. "I just remember myself crying to her that morning saying 'I don't know what to do. I don't know how to fix it. I don't know how to make it better.'"

"I couldn't cook her anything. I couldn't make her anything."

"She basically just told me 'You've got to live without your mommy,'" Cecily recalled. "It was a very traumatic day but you automatically think, 'Oh, we'll take her to the hospital and fix it. She'll be okay'."

"My sister Lyssa had got to the house, the fire people and ambulance and everyone was there."

"I went into her room, I grabbed her phone, her wallet, clothes... everything I could grab for her. This whole time I'm thinking she's going to leave the hospital. And so when I got there and I realized the severity of it, it was a game changer," Cecily stated.

"My whole world got flipped upside down and it was something that I was not prepared for."

"And it went from, 'She's going to be fine, we'll get through this'... then it ended up being like, 'This is unfixable and basically what do you want to do about it?'
