With all the craziness going on in the world right now, dogs are definitely the bright spot we all need.

They're adorable, full of unconditional love, and clearly man's celebrity's best friend.

1. Hilary Duff

Living life with rescue pups is what dreams are made of for the star.

In 2017, she rescued her puppy Momo from Love Leo rescue.

Then, a year later, the family got matched with an older dog named Lucy.

2. Miley Cyrus

Miley has a lot of love to give when it comes to animals.

She has several rescue pups and even adopted a new one at the start of the coronavirus pandemic. She called him Bow, short for Rainbow.

3. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend

With help from Ellen DeGeneres, the family was able to rescue this adorable poodle named Petey.

The pup joins the couple's two French bulldogs, Penny and Pippa. Sadly, their third one, Puddy, passed away in March 2018.

4. Zac Efron

In 2018, the High School Muscial actor rescued a dog named MACA.

By rescue, we mean he literally saved the dog from being euthanized since he stepped in to adopt her. We're not crying, you're crying!

5. Ryan Reynolds

When Ryan went looking for a pup in 2010, he was just looking for one for a friend.

But that all changed when he met the then-two-year-old retriever named Baxter. “I just fell in love with him,” he told People.

“I didn’t mean to, I just picked him up along the way.”

“I whispered to him, ‘Hey, let’s get the hell out of here.’ And he jumped up, like he spoke English fluently. He came with me, he jumped in the car, and we’ve been best buddies ever since.”

Suffice to say, shes's obsessed with the 11-year-old rescue. “Finn has made me more present,” she told People in 2016.

This means that the 'Bad Guy' singer won't be too lonely as she continues to quarantine at her parents’ house in Los Angeles.

The Vampire Diaries star's life got a little brighter when she adopted Maverick, the Border collie/Australian shepherd mix in 2017.

She even has an Instagram page for the pup where fans can follow along on his adventures!

His daughter with ex Irina Shayk isn't the only little one the actor has.

If you watched A Star Is Born, you would have seen Cooper's rescue pup, Charlie, making his debut to film!

The actor has always had a soft spot for rescue animals.

In the past, he had two rescue pup, Samson and Charlotte, who he once called "his kids."

Sadly, both have since passed, but he gave them a great life while he could. He even rescued Samson after seeing that the German Short-Haired Pointer was on a kill site.
