Fans Praise Halsey For Sharing What She 'Actually Looks Like' In Quarantine

It can easy to forget that celebrities are just real people even in the best of times, but quarantine is certainly not the best of times. It can be hard to relate to a celebrity in their mansion complaining about being bored when their situation is so different from ours.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

Singer Halsey, however, is pretty much spending her quarantine exactly like we all are.

At first, she was sharing thirst trap after thirst trap on Instagram, looking the kind of beautiful only celebrities can, but she recently took to Instagram to make sure we knew that most of the time she didn't really look like those photos.

Halsey decided to share what she really looks like with her fans.

"I’ve been posting a lot of ~spicy~ bathing suit pics lately so I feel responsible to remind everyone what I ACTUALLY look like," she captioned the collection of shots that showed Halsey in various situations from eating a mouthful of noodles to extreme unflattering closeup shots.

"Still gorgeous," one fan commented.

Fans and famous friends alike appreciated the refreshing dose of reality that included this particularly memorable action shot of Halsey mid-sneeze.

"Wow I appreciate this so much," fellow singer Demi Lovato wrote in a comment, and I share her sentiments.

"Love this! ur still spicy," one fan commented.

"I'm sorry are you just reminding us what a beautiful human being you are? Cause that's all I'm getting," another wrote.

I'm a particularly big fan of the shot of Halsey holding a wine glass that looks to be the size of her head because, honestly, that's the mood I'm in most of the time.

"I’m sorry are you supposed to not look good in these?" one fan asked.

"This is why we love you!" another fan commented, which was a sentiment echoed by many. It is definitely refreshing to see celebrities show themselves in their natural, unposed, and candid habitats and not just in bikinis or with perfectly made up faces.
