Basketball legend and tbh SWEETHEART man Shaquille O’Neal recently called a group of unsuspecting New Jersey doctors and nurses working in the ICU unit to praise them for heroic work during the coronavirus pandemic.
Here’s how it all went down!
According to *TMZ* a patient care technician named Brianna Vasquez reached out to Shaq via Instagram DM’s to explain how much her “ICU family” at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville, NJ adored the NBA legend.
Brianna asked Shaq if he’d be willing to FaceTime her co-workers to cheer them up and oh boy, did he deliver!
“I know you guys are working hard, I know you guys are tired,” Shaq said on the call.
“I just want to say I appreciate all you guys and keep up the good work and please keep being safe.”

“I know you guys don’t get a lot of appreciation but I appreciate everything you guys do. You guys have a great night and keep saving lives.”
