Well, it’s official. Jonah Hill has used the most swear words on film than any other actor in the business, including the preceding actor with the second-biggest potty mouth, Samuel L. Jackson.
Naturally, this is a huge honor for Jonah and he is celebrating his new title, as he should!

If you’ve ever wondered who has sworn the most in all of their movies collectively, I’m here to let you know that as of right now, it’s Jonah Hill.
It was Samuel L. Jackson, but Jonah just bumped him into second place and he couldn’t be prouder of it.
What an achievement!
According to *The Wrap*, a group known as *Buzz Bingo* conducted — what I can only imagine was — a very time consuming study.
They analyzed all of Jonah and Samuel’s movies, made a tally of who cussed the most overall, and Jonah came out on top !
What a way to spend time, am I right?
According to their study, he swore more than 700 times in total.
That is a lot of profane language to use over the course of his career that is still nowhere near being finished.
That total could possibly double for all we know!
Upon learning that he is now the reigning swear-word champion in Hollywood, he celebrated the news by sharing the headline on Instagram.
A humble brad, you might say!
“So many people to thank,” he captioned the post.
“@martinscorsese_ thanks for pushing me over the edge,” he continued, making sure to tip his hat to the former swear-word champ, as well.
“And of course the great @samuelljackson . Humbled.”
Is anyone else dying of laughter or is it just me?

This has got to be one of the most bizarre accomplishments that I have ever heard of. But nonetheless, I’m very happy for Jonah!
What a milestone! This will go down in history books.
And of course, Jonah’s post was met with a ton of support from his Hollywood peers as well as fans.
Maroon 5 singer, Adam Levine, left this hilarious comment — trying to out-swear Jonah.
Also, he called him “baby boy” which is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while.
This person pointed out that Jonah is 36 years old, while Samuel is 71 — nearly twice his age.
Which means, Samuel has had twice as long to rack up swear words and still couldn’t beat Jonah.
Honestly, it’s impressive. But to be fair, Sam probably doesn’t swear in EVERY film.
Some people don’t think that it’s even possible that Jonah has sworn more times than Samuel.
It definitely doesn’t add up! But I mean, it would be a lot of work to find out how accurate this study really is.
Others are dying to know what Samuel has to say about all this!
Maybe things will get very heated, competitive, and they’ll hold an organized battle to find out who the true winner is!
A swear-off .
It would be exactly like a rap battle.
Seth Rogen commented on the post: “The dream”. To which, Jonah replied with an incredible idea for a new docu-series.
” @sethrogen we should make a last dance style doc of me exhausted getting to the final [expletive] . ‘I can’t do it anymore!'”
Full disclosure: I would 100% watch a documentary about Jonah’s rise to being the biggest user of cuss words in Hollywood.
As far as I’m concerned, it would be an even bigger hit than Tiger King .
Netflix, I want royalties when you eventually make this happen!
For the most part, fans seem to agree! But there were quite a few names being tossed around as to who else could compete for the title.
This person pointed out that Christina Applegate swears quite a bit in Dead To Me . She might be in the running just based on that series alone!
This person thinks that Ruth Langmore from *Ozark* is the real winner.
To be honest, she could definitely compete, and maybe even win.
She has an absolutely wild swear-word lexicon that could certainly be put to the test!
