There are very few people in the fashion world who are as iconic as Vera Wang. Not only was she the youngest editor ever hired at Vogue magazine, but her name has become almost synonymous with high-end wedding dresses, and she didn’t even dip her toe into that field until she was 40 years old.
But wait, I hear you wondering. She’s been designing wedding dresses for 30 years. That would make her… 70 ?!

After Vera uploaded these amazing shots to her Instagram, fans were blown away by how amazing she looks. Of course, she’s gorgeous just in general, but to be in her shape and look the way she does at age 70 is phenomenal.
Of course, Twitter had a meltdown.
I don’t blame anyone — when I saw how fantastic Vera looked, I also was thrown into a small existential crisis about how it was even possible. It just goes to show that some celebrities really are ageless.
People were amazed.
There were many young people commenting that Vera looks even better at 70 than they do in their 20s, and I would have to count myself in among that group. My back hurts if I sit in my office chair for too long, and yet Vera is out here doing the most and looking fabulous!
There was a demand for knowledge.
People needed to know how she (and other famous celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, 50, who are rocking incredible bodies) manages to maintain such a youthful look, and they weren’t shy about asking.
If you’re desperate to know her secret, she’s not hiding it away.
When a fan in her Instagram comments wrote, “I need my stomach to be like yours. What’s your routine,” Vera’s answer was exactly the kind of workout routine that we all wanted to hear.
“Work, sleep, a vodka cocktail, not much sun…” came Vera’s reply.
She also took to Twitter to reply to a fan who said they wanted whatever Vera was drinking to tell them that it was Diet Coke. Diet Coke, vodka cocktails, sleeping, and staying inside? It looks like I’m well on my way to looking just like Vera when I’m 70.
Walking around in heels might also have something to do with it.
I’m in my 20s and even I can’t manage to wear the types of stilettos that Vera seems to pull off on the daily, so add that to the list of why she’s definitely going up on my vision board.
One thing is for sure: Vera does not shy away from life’s little pleasures.
Or big pleasures, in the case of donuts, which Vera frequently shows off on her Instagram page. Any woman who looks like she does and still chows down on a donut is basically a goddess in my books!
It also helps that Vera has always been beautiful.
Vera recently shared these throwback shots of her in 1978, when she was 29 years old. Although, is it just me, or does she look way younger than 29 in this picture? It looks like Vera’s been blessed with youth for a long time!

If I could look at my age the way Vera does at hers, I think I would do pretty much anything she said would work — so I guess I better hit the store and buy a lot of Diet Coke!

I’m currently at work, so that’s one of three. I’ll make a vodka cocktail and then take a nap, and when I wake up, I fully expect to look as amazing as Vera does.
