Wendy Williams Admits She Was ‘Reluctant’ To Film Show From Home After Seeing Other Hosts Look 'Disgusting’

As you have probably noticed, many talk show hosts have taken their shows to the comfort of their own living room during quarantine. It's a great way to bring a bit of normalcy into our days, and as well as provide some comedic relief, of course!

However, much to the surprise of many Wendy Williams fans, her show almost didn't go on.

Wendy filming her show from home has been an EVENT, to say the least.

Did you see when she warmed up her Slim Jim with a lighter?

I literally have no words.

However, the show from home almost didn't happen, as Wendy admitted to CNN. The 53-year-old said she was “reluctant” to film the show from her home after seeing her fellow talk show hosts "looking disgusting" on air.

“I’m just saying,” she told the network.

She continued: "The whole apartment is my office as far as I’m concerned [now]. But no, you know, when quarantine first got started, I was reluctant to do it because I always feel that I give so much of myself when I do the show for the last 11 plus years, that I want a place that I can call my own."

Thankfully, Wendy has some help!

"I have the same person come over every single day. He’s on time. He flips the switches, he sits over there, away from me. We get it done,” Wendy explained.

"Then my computer shows a whole gang of people from production."

Wendy admitted she has been totally in her element lately.

"I’ve got a closet galore, right? I pull out a robe and you know, sit in my chair and I’ve got my stuff around me and I’m a natural."

"It’s like I am born to do exactly what I’m doing. So, this is not a stretch for me."

I'm sure Wendy's fans are overjoyed they're able to watch their fav show while being stuck at home!
