Chris Hemsworth Admits He's 'Failing Miserably' At Homeschooling His Kids

It kind of feels like certain people should be good at everything, and Chris Hemsworth is one of those people. Apparently, that's not the case — at least not according to the man himself.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Some of the information in this story may have changed since publication, and we encourage readers to use online resources from CDC and WHO to stay up to date on the latest information surrounding COVID-19.

Like everyone else, Chris and his family are stuck at home during this pandemic.

Chris and his wife Elsa Pataky have three children together from the ages of 6 to 8, and like most parents who now have their children at home all day, they are in charge of their education.

In a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Chris has shared that homeschooling them is not going as planned.

“I’m trying, I’m failing miserably. It’s four or five hours of negotiation and bribery, then maybe 20 minutes of actual work, if that," Chris joked when asked how it was going.

“Everything’s changed since I was in school."

"There’s all these new little tricks and so on I don’t understand, so good luck me teaching my kids," Chris explained, which is definitely relatable — I barely understood how to do math when it was being taught to me, let alone enough to try to teach it in a new way to someone else.

“I’ve just relaxed in the idea that they’re going to come out of this quarantine IQ a little under par," Chris joked.
