Children's Illustrator Puts A New Drawing In Window Each Day To Cheer Up Neighbors

It's amazing that a pandemic can bring out the best in people. And, when you're an artist, you can channel your creative energy to do some good.

That's exactly what this one children’s book illustrator has been doing in his San Francisco home to bring some cheer to his neighborhood during these challenging times. I gotta say, it's so awesome to see. Take a look.

Rob Sayegh Jr. has been creating a new drawing in his home's window every day to surprise his passing neighbors.

He calls this project #DrawTheCurtains and it makes me happy.

He uses the Procreate app and his iPad Pro to create his fun drawings and prints them up with his home printer.

I gotta say, that's so creative.

Then, he tapes the artwork up to the window using double-sided tape.

What a fun way to express yourself and make everyone passing by feel just a little bit happier.

He even sends messages of gratitude to front line workers.

This design featuring a mailman who delivers his mail with a smile despite putting himself at risk every day.

How amazing would it be if everyone in your neighborhood was an artist and was able to do something in their windows for everyone to see on their walks?

That would be so cool!

It's great to see that he uses humor to attract his audience to enjoy the window art every day with a different image and fun messages.

I absolutely love this.

I bet everyone who passes by Rob's windows gets a kick out of seeing his fun illustrations.

It takes some creativity to come up with something different every day.

If his artwork can put a smile on somebody's face during this trying and difficult time, it's definitely all worth it.

After all, artists should use their talents for good.

I think this is such a great idea to put your creativity to good use.

I would love to see something like this on my walks in my neighborhood.
