Television can definitely take a toll on people, especially once you get super invested in the characters (yes, I am a victim of that).
That is the case right now for Young Sheldon fans, who are trying to recover from the most recent episode.

That is the case right now for Young Sheldon fans, who are trying to recover from the most recent episode.
And we totally understand--television can be super hard to watch sometimes.
In the episode, Sheldon's older brother Georgie, who has been working at a part time job, ends up getting fired.
Which leads to $400 being lost.
Come on, Georgie!
$400 is a lot of money! What would your brother have to say?
Earlier in the episode, Dale had suggested to Connie that the two of them drive down to New Orleans and get married.
I mean, the poor guy was heartbroken.
What kind of state of mind would you be in if you'd just faced that kind of rejection?
Georgie had been saving to buy his own car.
He offers this to Dale as compensation, but it still wasn't enough.
Needless to say, fans were not happy about it.
The twitter response was deafening. Fans seemed shocked that the sitcom would take such a dark turn.
But let's have hope! There's still one episode left!
Many felt that the subject matter was too heavy.
That Dale's actions were out of character.
Yeah, I suppose death and infidelity are definitely darker timelines.
At least he tried to make it right; that should count for something!
Yes, I agree Dale was a total jerk. But you can't say you don't like the guy.
That's a little harsh, isn't it?
I mean, he offered to give the money back! So the whole "he actually stole it" train of thought is a moot point, isn't it?
"Sheldon discovers that Mary’s been keeping a secret about his future. Also, Meemaw is furious when she learns Dale fired Georgie."
Were you as put off as everyone else?
