Wendy Williams Slams Gwen Stefani's Ex For Wanting Split Custody During Pandemic: 'Moms Are The No. 1 Parent'

Wendy Williams is no stranger to controversial opinions and statements made on her talk show, and just because she's doing the show on YouTube doesn't mean that she's going to stop now.

Information about the coronavirus pandemic is rapidly changing and Diply is committed to providing the most recent data as it becomes available. Gwen Stefani's ex-husband Gavin Rossdale recently spoke about the struggles of split custody during a pandemic.

“I did the first two weeks with [my kids], then they went to Oklahoma. They are on a 10,000 acre lot,” he said. “I think it’s okay for now, but it’s a real big dilemma for parents and kids who split custody.”

“I know who’s around me and know who’s bringing the corona — no one."

"But you send your kids out somewhere else and now they’re coming back to you, and now you’re prone to whoever they’re with so it’s a tricky one with all divorced parents," he added.

Wendy commented on this interview during her show and did not seem amused by Gavin's comments.

“I had no idea they were still fighting like this,” Wendy responded. “Gavin, you have to pipe down and go along with what your ex says."

“If you’re really an unselfish man, you let your ex-wife have the kids during this quarantine," she continued.

"We love dads, but moms are the No. 1 parent, so why don’t you just drop the kids off at the house,” she suggested.

This comment has not gone over well with all of her fans.

Fans referred to her saying this as a "clown comment."
